Image Processing by MATLAB Basics

(Read matlab basics first )

IMAGES AS MATRICES :

Images in image processing toolbox are defined as matrices with each element in matrix representing a pixel

f(r,c) is the representation of the matrix where r is rows and c is columns

the origin is 1,1

Note that f(1,2) represents the pixel of 1st row and 2nd column

READING IMAGES

imread('filename')
f= imread('rajat.jpg');

The semicolon in the end is used to suppress output if the semicolon is not entered it displays the output.
This file rajat.jpg must be in the working directory otherwise u have to give the full file path.(f=imread('c:\mydocument\supertramp\rajat.jpg')

the white area in the middle is the work area in which the user types in the commands which are interpreted directly over there and results are displayed on the screen. >> is the matlab prompt indicating that user can type in the commands here...a previously entered command can be reached with the help of up-arrow and down-arrow

In this article the things that u need to type in matlab command window are put in " ". please do open matlab , type them and match the results

it will help u in learning faster.

this will result in

matlab defines a new variable "ans" as ur result and u can use it again newhere
chk these examples these will make u understand every basic command u need to know in matlab



Example 1:

To perform symbolic computations, you must use syms to declare the variables
you plan to use to be symbolic variables.


>>" syms x y"
>> "(x - y)*(x - y)ˆ2"
this will result in
ans =
(x-y)^3

>>" expand(ans)"
this will result in
ans =
x^3-3*x^2*y+3*x*y^2-y^3

>>" factor(ans)"
this will result in

These include digital filters, signals, communication channels, mechanical systems etc. This has widely been used to perform simulations and analysis of signal processing, neural networks and control systems algorithms by researchers. Here's my review on 2 adventurous movies i like the most..

2. Motorcycle Dairies

The fact that fascinates me the most about these movies is that they both are made on true story and with very less exaggeration.

The story of this movie revolves around a young man who has just finished his college and is frustrated with the growing hatred in the world mainly among his parents , he donates all his money to some charity , demolishes all his id cards and all his connections with the world and start his ultimate adventure on rooming in the wild with no money , this movie accounts very beautifully his relationships with the persons he meets during the travel. although the end of the movie is not good but the director can't help it ,as it is a true story, i've also read the book "into the wild" it is an awesome book by Jon Krakauer , and is a bestselling non-fiction book about the adventures of Christopher McCandless .The songs of the movie are by eddie vedder and are very good . There is a small role of kristen stewart in the movie.

There is one quote from the book which i like the most "The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun"

,this movie is on the life of che guevara the great leader of cuban revolution , this movie is on his life before becoming a revolutionist he and one of his friends decides to travel across south america on a motorcycle seeking fun and adventure . But this trip in the end fully transform their lives . This movie is very nice it can also transform your lives too.


this movie is made by the notes written by che guevara during his travel and the notes are also compiled in an awesome book called "The motorcycle dairies" when i saw the movie it was in spanish so i have to use the subtitles of english i hope that dubbed version has come now.

now what u have to do is to just download joomla from there site and save it in your computer and then upload the zip file u downloaded in your public_html directory and then extract it there. now when u open ur site in a new window it wil take u thru some simple step and then u are done with setting sample joomla site , now u can logon into www.yoursite.com/administrator and edit the website

with so many extensions in joomal i think u can do anything and everything possible with a webiste . all u need is ideas

PLEASURE OF PRAYING

u will think m a bit orthodox but whenever i get into some serious trouble i pray to god and the next thing i know is that m out of trouble. it gives me strange confidence and i feel a sense of fearlessness which is a awesome experience . i shud say everybody shud feel the pleasure of praying.

to insert video audio and aimation soon silverlight 3 

coming in which we can add 3d animation and make animation on the web pages which uses silverlight...very powerful ne thing can be done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

everytype of brushes available just have to use the creativity...very cool ready make copyright free applications..paste in the directory of brushes

POWERPOINT-nice reflection...in formatting can be very useful for web desgining chk the background it is edited with powerpoint and also it changes the size of images to few kbs...same pixels as apper in powerpoint so very good for reducing size and pixels  nd wordart also very nice

EXPRESSION MEDIA ENCODER....for live broadcasting in the website and encodes pre recorded video's
